We had a wonderful time on our tour!  There was more to see on Corregidor than we expected, and we really appreciated how well-organized the tour was, with the bus and all the stops and even a lunch break.  Our two teenage boys enjoyed it just as much as their parents did - thank you very much for everything!
All the best,

Beyond five stars!
We got the hotel plus tour package for our Fukuoka trip.
Our hotel was very much accessible to the train station and the shopping area. It even has its own shopping arcade in its basement.  The rooms are spacious and clean. Also, the hotel staff are great and very accomodating. This was proven when I left a luggage at the airport. The hotel staff are of great help as they contacted some airport personnel so as I can retrieve my luggage. Because of their help, i did. With no hassle. The tour package was likewise excellent. Our tour guide, Maria San, was very bubbly and informative. No time was wasted during the entire trip. She was more than happy to accomodate our requests, ie, where is the best Yakiniku in Fukuoka, where to shop, etc.
Overall, our trip booked with Shore 2  Shore, for the nth time, was way beyond our expectations.  Will definitely book our next trip with them.

Our tour was very interesting. Our driver also served as our guide. We didnt realize that Eden's Nature Park, The Philippine Eagle Center and Crocodile Park were long drives. Our only disappointment was the waling waling orchids at the Malagos gardens were not in bloom, however, we saw one at the Phil. Eagle Center and my daughter took its picture. We were able to visit the village where President Duterte resides and we took pictures outside of his home and bought souvenirs from the only street vendor there. There were other tourists too. The food was great at Luz' Inihaw especially the "panga ng tuna" which we couldnt finish. We went to Jakc Ridge Farm in the evening, on our own, and had a fantastic view of Davao City. Overall, the tour was very informative and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you.

My trip was quite exciting.  Both guides as well as the drivers were pleasant and quite knowledgeable.  In Batad we had a better weather and I made it to the village and the waterfall, thanks to my handsome guide.  I learned quite a bit about the history and agriculture of the rice terraces.

Bicol tour package

Spicy cuisine, "Pinangat" and Pili Nuts, Yes! All the specialties in Albay. Most popular is the "perfect-coned shape" volcano. Everything about tourism in Albay speaks of and is attached to 'Magayon' a bicolano dialect which means beautiful and is Mt. Mayon.

Looking at it, one is mesmerized of her perfect shape even after every eruption (it is by far, the most active volcano in the country).

Come closer to her feet by ATV or 4x4 vehicle taking you to see the solidified black lava. The passage is described with boulders, flowing rivers and array of pine trees.

Apart from Mt Mayon, the province has its own drawing through its colonial churches such as the Daraga Church constructed on top of the hill. With gothic and baroque styled structures, this was declared as the National Cultural Treasure in th country.

Cagsawa Church, being closest to the foot of Mayon, was buried in Mt. Mayon's eruption in 1814, and only the bell tower survived making the site more interesting to visitors.

Lignon Hill Park has a panoramic view of Legazpi City, Albay Church and Mt. Mayon. A 360degrees view of the entire city. The park also features nature trails, ziplines and viewdeck in the southern area.

Dine ala Bicol Style, do some shopping and sightseeing. Embarcadero de Legazpi is on the main harbor and there's Legazpi Boulevard too for picture taking.

Hidden Valley Springs Laguna

Hidden Valley Springs in Laguna is a lush green rainforest which is only an hour and half drive from the city. This secluded and private resort is long time hidden in a narrow path road from the town of Alaminos to the bumpy countryside roads of Calauan.

At the resort, pathways are surrounded by wild plants, overgrown ferns, fruit bearing trees and bended bamboos. The place is an epitome of peace and tranquility. No bustling horns of vehicles, no people populating the area, no dust and pollution. Just cicadas' songs, birds chirpings, welcoming breeze from the mountains and hospitable people.

This place is blessed with the gifts of water. The resort has 3 luke-warm pools heated by volcanic rocks believed to be from the dormant volcano/mountain of Makiling, 2 soda pools where water is good for drinking but doesnt taste like soda at all, 1 lover's pool nestled in the middle of the rainforest, ideal for couples but not offlimits for groups or singles. Each pool has varied sizes.

Century old Amlang trees are a sight to behold, adding a mystic feel to the place.

The hidden falls is a perfect background for photography. Big boulders are naturally scattered for sitting.

Buffet lunch is combination of Filipino, American and  Spanish Cuisine, while the Afternoon snacks are served with traditional filipino delicacies.

Hidden Valley Spring Resort - a perfect place to unwind.

Villa Escudero day tour

Hacienda Villa Escudero showcases the rich colonial culture of the Philippines way back 16th century. A living proof of Philippine history still seen at the present.

The Hacienda Villa was founded in 1872 by Don Escudero. It's composed of 800 hectares of land within the boundary of San Pablo Laguna and Tiaong Quezon. It was a vast land of sugarcane converted to a coconut plantation in the early 1900's by Don Arsenio, the sole heir of Escudero. The first hydroelectric plant in the country was also built in 1929.

Thereafter, some parts of the hacienda was then converted to a self sustained eco-tourism destination known now as Villa Escudero.

A glimpse of the Villa:

AERA Museum houses the family's assorted collections. The museum was built from the likened structures of San Francisco Church and San Agustin Church. Ceilings and wall designs as seen in Intramuros. Its first floor consists of religious artifacts and huge religious images used for processions.  Stuffed-dried butterfly collections, and other insects are available for viewing as well as some Philippine Endangered species. The second floor is composed of personal collections of dolls, love letters, housewares, clothes, jewelries, antiques, currency and Relics from the WWII.

There's a local village tour on a carabao cart while being serenated by the villa's local musicians.

Highlight is lunch at the Labasin Waterfalls with water coming from Mt. Banahaw. Dining tables are placed facing the waterfalls where diners enjoys a bare hand meal on banana leaf plates.

Go Bamboo Rafting at Labasin Lake, with fishing activity also available.

A much sought to watch is the Villa's Cultural Show every weekend and holidays. Guests are entertained by live cultural performance of traditional dances, songs and rondalla (string musicians). This has been choreographed and directed by the late Ramon Obusan, the country's national artist for dance.

Villa Escudero is a reflection of love for history, love for country and love for its people, passed from generation to generation. It's offered for the experience of genuine Filipino hospitality away from the city.

A piece of heaven, El Nido tour package

El Nido is often referred to as paradise. Yet some says it's a piece of heaven.

El Nido is in Bacuit Bay,surrounded by Sulu Sea and Philippine Sea and an original habitat of the Tagbanua and Cuyon Tribe.

El Nido is considered as having a diverse ecosytem that needs to be protected. Making it popular also is being the source for swift nest used for Nido Soups.

El Nido is not just a typical tropic beach paradise, it's a place compared to none. It has its own unique identity - breathtaking views of nature, above land and below sea; its towering limestone cliffs seemingly haven for the gods; its clean lagoons, pristine water and endless white beaches.

There is nothing special in El Nido town, yet people here are quite accommodating. Accommodation lined-up from low to high. Restaurants along the shoreline offers fresh seafoods.

El Nido's photos are mainly taken on the different islands. Simply, the best activity in El Nido is island hopping. Never leave without exploring its lagoons, beaches and islands. Go swimming and snorkel in its crystal clear, go kayaking and diving.

El Nido's splendor is inexplainable. It's better to visit it personally.

Manila Bay Dinner Cruise

It's my 1st time with my family and we are excited.

While waiting for boarding, the sitting area has ample chairs, wide lobby space, airconditioning is ok and the restroom is clean with tissue paper. Working as a tour guide, it pleased me to see a place that's well kept.

The sky has orange color with lavander linings. Vast view of Manila Bay is is sort of mystical.

As we aboard the vessel, staffs assisted us, leading us to our seats. The kids were a bit nervous because of the movement. We were seated at the upper deck. A cruise officer gave a short orientation.

Other couples and groups started to board.

The orange sky is slowly fading and darkness started to hover. The ferry sailed along Roxas Boulevard giving us a glimpse of the city lights. I though it would have been more romantic if the moon came out. The city lights were brilliant that they looked like shining stars.

We had soup and plated meal and drinks that everning. Live music performace accompanied us during dinner. There was even marriage proposal on board!

As we sailed towards Mall of Asia, more lights highlighted the cruise. Rainbow-scattered colors everywhere. I have never seen Manila as pretty as this one.

We navigated back to the Esplanade Terminal. Yes it's simple but the experience is great and worth trying.

Surf... Baler! But its not just surfing. Baler is the capital of Aurora, a province named after the beloved wife of Philippine Commonwealth President, Manuel L. Quezon and reachable by 6 hours travel by land.

Explore Nature in Baler. Famous is its 600 year old Millenium Balete Tree, considered the oldest balete in Asia and will need 60 men to encircle its trunk. Hike up Ermita Hill, an assigned area during tsunamis or typhoon surge.

Stairway to heaven, is also called Banaue tour

Typically called a stairway to heaven is the Philippine's premier pride, the Banaue Rice Terraces.

It's an iconic wonder molded by creative imagination, determination and perseverance of the Ifugao Tribe in the far mountains of the Cordillera Region.

The terraces were carved by hands, blanketing the mountain slopes with mud and rocks, forming its wall, designed to effectively irrigate waters from atop and passing through the man-made canals flowing directly to the rice paddies.

It's 2000 years old, and called the 8th wonder of the world. Standing high and mighty through this time.

I started my journey from Banaue town proper to Batad Saddle point.  I am welcomed by fresh, cool, rice grass scented air from the terraces.

The challenging start is a combination of narrow pathway with few staircases, uneven slopes and slippery mud, amidst the foresty trail. The trek makes one feel hot even on cloudy weather. Sweat freely flows from forehead down to the spine.

Clear sight of the terraces makes one wanting to see more.

Getting closer, the immensity of the amphitheater-like terraces reveal its inexplainable beauty. One of the greatest engineering masterpiece to behold and seen. It's love at first sight for me. Falling for its greatness, for its people, making me feel like home.

Going downhill through slippery steps, steep slopes, endless staircase and the scorching heat - is energy draining matched with excitement. I felt more happy than tired.

Along the way, we mingled with the locals living in the village. We visited their traditional houses, learned weaving and experienced pounding rice to get the grains ready for cooking. We had brewed native coffee afterwards. I am filled.

Banaue Rice Terraces is an ancient landscape that needs total protection and support from each visitor.
